
Sevilla Fc has announced the return of Argentine manager Jorge Sampaoli as the new head coach replacing Julen Lopetegui.
Lopetegui was sacked as the manager after losing 4-1 to Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League group stage match on Wednesday, October 5.
Sampaoli is making a comeback as the manager of the Spanish club after six years.

“Sevilla FC and Jorge Sampaoli have reached an agreement for the Argentine manager to return to the club, after a first spell in the 2016/17 season,” part of the club's statement read.
The Argentine penned a deal that will see him lead the La Liga side until June 30, 2024.
Sevilla announced that the 62-year-old will conduct his first training session immediately on Thursday evening, October 6.
Sampaoli will work together with Jorge Desio, Diogo Meschine and Pablo Fernández as the technical bench.
The Argentine who started his footballing career at the Newell's Old Boys academy was forced into early retirement at the age of 19 after breaking his leg.
The 62-year-old tactician in his long managerial career has managed nations like Chile (December 212- December 2016).
During that period as Chile’s manager, he saw the national team win Copa America in 2015.
One of his idols is the famous Marcelo Bielsa who has influenced his attacking footballing philosophy.
