A Premier League match between Arsenal and Leeds United at Elland Road Stadium was temporarily suspended shortly after kick off on October 16, 2022 due to power outage.
According to Football.London reporter Kaya Kaynak, the power at the stadium went off leading to technical problems.
“Been told TV feed, VAR, referee communication system, can't function. The lights above our heads at the stadium did go off and come straight back on again almost immediately after kick off,” read a statement from Kaynak.

Arsenal also issued a statement informing their supporters the reason for the suspension of the game.
“Due to a power cut at Elland Road, the game has been temporarily suspended,” the North London-based side stated.
The players from both sides went to their changing rooms after the match was halted and returned after a more than 20 minutes break.
The players and the match officials had to warm up again before the restart of the match.
Arsenal are currently topping the 2022/2023 Premier League standings and a win over Leeds will make them continue with their fairytale campaign.
The Mikel Arteta coached side had 25 points from their first 10 games, two more than the defending champions Manchester City before their Leeds fixture.
Leeds on the other hand occupied the 12th position in the log prior to today’s clash.
The Jesse Marsch coached side have accumulated 10 points in their last 9 Premier League matches.
