How Ababu Namwamba Helped Journalist After Citizen TV Job Ended

Former Citizen Tv journalist Enock Sikolia has credited Ababu Namwamba and Aden Duale for being there for him after leaving Citizen TV.

He noted that after he left Citizen TV, many people he considered his friends ignored him.

Sikolia revealed that when he started his YouTube channel, Kenyan Historian, after leaving the TV station in 2020 adding that some of his friends turned down his interview requests.

He stated that the two cabinet secretaries were always there to offer their opinion on his work despite having few followers.

The former Citizen TV reporter noted that Ababu and Duale acted as his source in several of his documentaries. 

“Some sources I called friends refused to pick up my calls. I had little influence with my small channel then.

“But these two gentlemen were always ready for my interview requests. They did not look down upon my 1000 subscribers,” Sikolia noted in his tweet.

Further, he attributed the growth of his YouTube channel to both Cabinet Secretaries thanking them for believing in his dream.

“I am so grateful to these two gentlemen and other govt officials who looked beyond our few subscribers then and helped. I am glad they were appointed as cabinet secretaries. My hope and prayer are that they deliver to Kenyans as a whole,” Sikoli noted.
