Wanyama, who is set to represent Kenya at the upcoming East African Inter-Parliamentary Games, will be assisted by Kabete MP James Wamacukuru.
Peter Orero, former High School Principal, has also been appointed to be part of the committee.
Orero was elected to serve the Kibra constituency's people in the elections held two months ago.
He defeated the likes of Imran Okoth, who was running on an independent ticket, and United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate MacDonald Mariga.
Orero is credited for identifying and nurturing tens of talents in the Kenyan sports industry, such as MacDonald Mariga, Dennis Oliech, Victor Wanyama and Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga.
Some of the schools that the one-time Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) chairperson has served in the past include Lang’ata High, Upper Hill School and Kamunkunji Boys.
The other committee members are Naomi Waqo, Ngozi Rai, Jackson Kosgei, Caroli Omondi, and Mary Emaase.
