Former Kenya Police tactician Sammy “Pamzo” Omollo disclosed on Wednesday, December 14, that he is relieved after being fired by the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side.
He was sacked following several dismal performances. Police FC failed to register a win in their first two premier league matches.
A week after being shown the door, the former Harambee Stars defender divulged that the work was nerve-racking.

"I feel relieved, to be honest, the work was becoming stressful, but I'm grateful for the opportunity.
"I'm still in coaching, and I look forward to the next opportunity," Pamzo was quoted by Mozzart Sport.
Omollo boasts of vast coaching experience. He has previously managed a number of Kenyan clubs including Oserian, Mahakama, and Sony Sugar.
The former Gor Mahia player has also had a spell with Tusker and Posta Rangers.
Francis Baraza was appointed by the law enforcement side as Omollo’s replacement.
In Baraza’s first game in charge, Police FC shared points with Bandari FC at Kasarani Stadium.
Police FC is ranked 14th in the 2022/2023 FKFPL table with 1 point, 11 less than league leaders Tusker.
