
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola announced new tactics he will use during the much-anticipated Manchester Derby.
Speaking on Tuesday, January 10, before City’s Carabao match against Southampton Pep noted that he was not yet decided on the tactics to use.
Pep has in the past been accused of overthinking in big matches and with United’s current form he has hinted at making a few changes.

"I have a few ideas, thoughts - ridiculous ones - against United but I still didn't watch the last games. I must see how they play at home and if they change something. I must review it. That is why I don’t have a clear line-up against United," Pep noted.
Pep revealed that the changes he made on the lineup during the 4-0 win over Chelsea were because some players were tired.
The Citizens manager added that through that the squad will arrive for the Manchester Derby with players fully fit.
Pep will have a short time to plan for the United game as he has focused on the quarter-final at Saint Mary's Stadium.
Manchester City plays Southampton in a Carabao quarter-final match on Wednesday night, January 11, before the travel to Old Trafford.
The Citizens are the reigning Premier League champions five points behind Arsenal in the current standings, with the Gunners also facing Tottenham in a London derby on Sunday, January 15.
