Emerging Stars Arrive in Ethiopia, Ready for CECAFA Showdown

The Kenya National Under 23 squad,Emerging Stars, arrived safely in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia ahead of the upcoming CECAFA Under 23 Championships set to begin on Sunday, 18th July 2021.

Stanley Okumbi’s Stars pose to be quite promising talents for the tournament more so after the inclusion of Tusker's Boniface Muchiri and Kakamega Homeboyz's David Odhiambo. Tusker's Henry Meja.

Gor Mahia’s Benson Omala and KCB's Reagan Otieno will be heavily relied upon in terms of grabbing goals for the talented youthful squad. 

Okumbi, even though lamenting on how the tournament won't be a walk in the park, is still hopeful on the squad's ability. He also stated that they have been majorly working on tactical alignments that will ensure they match up pretty well with their opponents. 

The Squad's fitness according to the tactician is in peak form, high in terms of fitness levels and fortunately, no injury woes.
