
Shujaa registered their first win of the day at the Singapore 7s Rugby World Series after defeating Canada 24 - 7.
Kenya 7s finished third in Singapore 7s Pool A after beating Canada in the final match.
Shujaa had already missed the quarterfinal slot and was seeking to end the pool matches on a high. The Kenyan side bagged two tries in both halves to finish in third position with five points.

After finishing third, Kenya will compete for the ninth place, meaning they will finish at a lower position after going into the series at eighth position.
In Pool A, the USA finished at pole position with nine points followed by the Springboks with seven points. Shujaa finished third in the group.
Kenya lost its first two opening matches against the US and South Africa, missing a chance to play in the cup quarters.
In Pool B, Australia finished top followed by Samoa and England at second and third positions respectively. Spain finished fourth.
New Zealand topped Pool C followed by Argentina at second as Scotland and Wales in third and fourth positions respectively.
In Pool D, Fiji topped as Ireland came in second followed by France in third with Japan finishing at the bottom.
