The 23-year-old pacey forward amassed 8 goals in Qatar - the youngest player to achieve that incredible feat.

On the other hand, Messi, one of the greatest footballers to play the beautiful game, was awarded the golden ball award - the tournament’s best player.

Apart from his heroics in the title decider, Messi also won five man of the match awards in Qatar, giving one of them to his compatriot Sergio Aguero who was not part of Argentina’s star-studded squad.
Apart from Messi, the Argentine duo of Enzo Fernandez and Emiliano Martinez also clinched the young player of the tournament and the golden glove awards, respectively.
Martinez, who plays for English-based side Aston Villa made crucial saves in Qatar, including a remarkable one in the final.
The former Arsenal custodian also saved several penalties in the tournament to help his side go home with the coveted trophy.
