A live band greeted the world champions, government officials, and reporters before their caravan transversed the streets of Buenos Aires.
A jubilant crowd could be heard singing heroic songs and setting off firecrackers in the early morning sky.
They dressed in the famous white and blue Argentine colours, and danced as the players waved back at them.
According to an Argentine media outlet, the players were to attend a party later in the day.
"The Argentine national team successfully completed its return to the country and is preparing to live a party in the next few hours.
"Before that, players and coaching staff must recover their energy with a well-deserved rest," read a statement from TyC Sports.
The La Albiceleste overpowered multiple champions Les Bleus of France, to lift the most expensive trophy in the universe.
Arsenal FC's old boy Emiliano Martinez was the star of the dramatic match.
