Nickollas Grecco, a long term fan of Brazilian club Palmeiras, rarely misses their matches, in spite of his visual impairment.
Her mother Sylvia Grecco, a long-time fan of the club, has since taken it upon herself to commentate the matches, just so that Nicko feels part of the action during these matches.

“At first, I used to take Nicko to the stadium with a radio and headsets, but I felt that he was just sitting there without really knowing what was going on,” Nicko’s mother, Sylvia, opened up on their experiences.
“I started narrating all the plays for him. Ever since then, I’m his narrator,” she added.

Palmeiras, in the meantime, won the Copa Libertadores in 2021, gaining qualification for the Club World Cup.
