Big-spending FKF Premier League newbies Kenya Police have embarked on an ambitious project to construct a stadium of their own.

Construction work on the new facility at the CID training school in South C, Nairobi kicked off yesterday, February 14, 2022.

Deputy Inspector General of the Kenya Police Service Edward Mbugua graced the ground-breaking ceremony alongside Chairman Munga Nyale and CEO Chris Oguso.

The stadium is expected to ease congestion on the limited facilities currently available in the country.

They have already signed Harambee Stars players Francis Kahata, Harun Shakava, Duke Abuya, Duncan Otieno, Musa Mohammed and Elvis Rupia.

In October 2020, President Uhuru Kenyatta commissioned the construction of the Ulinzi Sports Complex at the Lang’ata Barracks in Nairobi.
