A heart-warming moment has emerged from the war in Ukraine, after a former heavyweight boxing world champion Vitali Klitschko helped to oversee a wedding on the front line in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Emotional footage seen by TeamKenya.co.ke, showed boxing legend Vitali Klitschko conducting a wedding ceremony in Kyiv while on the frontline defending Ukraine against the Russian invasion.

Klitschko, who is now mayor of Ukraine’s capital city, was on hand to watch two territorial defense members, Valeri and Lesya, tie the knot.

Lesya swapped her helmet as the pair took their vows in front of fellow Ukrainian soldiers at a checkpoint in the city.
