Also affected by the outage was the pre-game press conference which took place at the same venue.

Ghana needs a win against The Super Eagles or have a goal scoring draw in order to book a slot in the 2022 World Cup.

Africa as a content has only five slots assigned for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

The Black Stars missed the last edition in 2018 and will be seeking to return to the global football tournament in November.

The first leg between the two on March 25, ended with a stale draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

The Super Eagles will host the Black Stars at the 60,000 capacity Moshood Abiola Stadium, with a place in the World Cup in Qatar at stake.
