Manchester United captain and center-back, Harry Maguire, is reported to have received a bomb threat targetting his house.
According to a top British media house, Cheshire police with sniffer dogs were sent to the mansion where Maguire lives with his fiancée, Fern Hawkins, and their two young daughters.
Reports indicate that the threats were sent via an email, prompting a search to be conducted at the player's house.

Maguire has in the recent past received criticism for the poor form portrayed by his team.
According to the player's spokesman, the Manchester United defender alerted the police after the message and further investigations were underway.
"In the last 24 hours, Harry has received a serious threat to his family home. He has reported this to the police who are now looking into the matter.
"The safety of his family and those around him is obviously Harry's number one priority. He will continue to prepare for this weekend's fixture as normal and we will not be commenting in any further detail at this time,” the spokesperson noted.
Recently, while on international duty, the centre-back was booed by England fans at Wembley. The incident prompted the English national team manager to defend the player.
United are currently sixth on the English Premier League table, fighting for a slot in the top four so as to play in the next season's Champions League.
However, on Tuesday, April 19, the Red Devils suffered a 4-0 loss to Liverpool and will be hoping to bounce back on Saturday, April 23, as they take on Arsenal.
