At 23 years of age, Kylian Mbappe has become the face of success in French football. The French playmaker has scored 168 goals in the 216 games he has played for Paris Saint Germain.

Mbappe made history as the second teenager to score a goal in the Word Cup in 2019 after the legendary Brazilian, Pele.

With his impeccable success comes an estimated Ksh 5 billion fortune according to Forbes magazine.

Mbappé’s wages per 2019 World Cup were about Ksh2.5 million, with his earnings up to the quarter-finals shooting up to Ksh12 million per week.

PSG pays him Ksh2.6 billion pre-tax earnings per year, and according to his new contract, the Ligue 1 side is meant to increase.

In the 2018/19 season, Mbappe pocketed Ksh1 billion after-tax, which was monumental for a teenager.

Besides his salary at Parc des Princes, Mbappe has been approached by brands for signing as ambassadorial jobs which have skyrocketed his wealth.

He has a major sponsorship deal with Nike, which he extended in the summer of 2017 before he transferred to PSG.

Mbappe pocketed Ksh250 million from Nike's deal which his teammate Marco Verati also has with the apparel company.

In 2020, online gaming enterprise EA Sports chose him for the cover of FIFA 21, making him one of the youngest stars to ever appear on the PlayStation maker cover.

Mbappe has an endorsement with Swiss luxury watchmaker, Hublot, with the deal estimated to be worth Ksh124 million per year.

Adidas unsuccessfully approached him in 2017 to be their brand ambassador and were willing to offer the youngster Ksh621 million.

Mbappe's wealth is only set to go higher after his recent contract renewal at PSG which saw the highly sought-after forward issue a set of demands to the French team after making a U-turn on Madrid.
