Gaming giants FIFA 23, unveiled measures aimed at defending its image and reputation after some users were able to access the yet-released game.
On August 30, some XBOX One users got hold of the full version of the FUT (FIFA Ultimate Team) mode at the end of downloading a simulator mode.
“Yesterday we unintentionally gave a small number of players access to a two-hour trial of the Xbox One version of FIFA 23 that shouldn’t be available yet,” part of the statement read.

This hitch led to almost all of the ratings and stats of the various teams represented in the game being leaked on the network.
The unintentional release also saw several new kits being revealed before they should’ve been, including those that are yet to be announced by the respective clubs.
The glitch did not last for a long time as it was sorted out within an hour. EA also banned gamers who streamed the game while it was unlocked.
“Not all content was final. We’ve removed that access, and we will be ready to welcome everyone in at launch in September 2022,” the statement read.
Earlier EA announced a number of new partnerships with clubs that will feature in the much-awaited FIFA 23 with South African club Mamelodi Sundowns being the only African club in the game.
FIFA 23 will be available from September 30, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Steam and Nintendo Switch.
