Comedian Meshack Kiptoo Biwott, popularly known as Arap Uria, had his dream fulfilled in Qatar as he met with legendary commentator Peter Dury.
Arap Uria - who is the Middle East country for the 2022 World Cup - was scheduled to meet Dury on Saturday, December 3.
This was after Uriah requested to meet the commentator on a placard through his social media platforms.

“Hello, Peter Drury. It's Arap Uria. I'm in Qatar and I would like to meet you,” read the placard in part.
Hours later, Dury's long-term colleague, Jim Beglin replied to Uria assuring him to set up a meeting between the two.
“I've passed on your tweet to Peter. I hope it all works out for you. Good luck. Peter Dury will communicate you hereafter, Arap,” Jim Beglin stated.
Uria later posted photos of him With Drury with the caption "Gooooal!!! Finally with Peter Drury. Many thanks
to Jim Beglin."
Uria is well-known for mimicking the legendary football commentator.
He has beforehand interacted with the English football commentator who once sent a recorded video commending Uriah for his work.
In the short video, Drury asked other football enthusiasts not to take football too seriously and follow in the steps of Uria who shows passion through short kits.
At the time, Dury also noted that he would have liked to meet Uria to share ideas.
