Tusker FC head coach Robert Matano has disclosed that his team worked more on its mental strength ahead of the FKF Premier League match against Kariobangi Sharks.
The Brewers suffered their biggest loss this season in the hands of Police FC after going down 3-0.
Matano has noted that his players have been working in training to bounce back from the defeat.

"Everything is about mental strength and focus. The players have adopted a positive mentality after that loss to the Police and we have taken it as sportsmen.
“We are more focused than before towards this coming match," Matano noted.
He highlighted that he has worked with the team more on the defending and particularly one on one situation
"We have worked more on our defending especially on one on one situations from what we saw against the Police and also organisational play for the whole team. I believe we will be better improved," Matano added.
Team captain Humphrey Mieno was keen to highlight the team has learned from its mistakes following the hammering at the hands of Police FC.
"In football at times, things don't go your way but it all comes down to mental strength and how you pick yourself up. We will show it when we start winning our matches because people have been working hard as well as focused and we know that we will bounce back in our next match," Mieno stated.
He added that the loss against the Police acted as a wake-up call to show the team that the league is a marathon and not a sprint and to avoid taking that easy.
Mieno noted that Kariobangi Sharks was a good side praising their players as athletic.
"They are a good side that loves to play and keep the ball and they are very athletic as well. We know we are facing a difficult side but we will be ready for them,” Mieno stated.
