The Football Kenya Premier League match at the Kasarani Stadium on Saturday, February 25, saw Gor Mahia win 2-1 over the Police.

Omalla also recorded his 16th goal of the season with his last minute winner against Police.

Police began the match, scoring the first goal through Elvis Rupia before Dennis Ng’ang’a levelled for Gor Mahia.

Gor Mahia's head coach praised his side after the comeback against the Police, who he called tough opponents.

"There is no doubt that the three points against Police FC are the same as any other three points, but the difference today is that the game today was tough because they are a really good team.

"They caused us problems, but it is really pleasing that we managed to fight back to take the points," Johnathan McKinstry stated.

On his part, Police FC boss Francis Baraza highlighted that his side lost the match because of small errors.

"It was a really good match today. This is the game where boys are separated from men, and we lost the match due to small mistakes.

“We showed maturity and played really well but this is not the end. We will go back and work out our mistakes," Francis Baraza stated.
