
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has associated French midfielder N'Golo Kante's recent drop in form with the Holy month of Ramadan.
The celebrations started on April 1 and will run till May 1, with the Chelsea player not eating or drinking during some stipulated time.
Kante has been a key player for the Blues with his recent halftime substitution bringing a debate among football lovers.

“We have missed him for so many matches, now he's fasting due to his religion and beliefs so maybe another reason.
"Not for the first time but if for many days you don't drink or eat it can have an effect,” Tuchel commented.
The French midfielder was for the first time in his career at Chelsea substituted at halftime, however, the manager noted it was a tactical switch.
Tuchel admitted that comparing Kante’s form in their last season's match against Real Madrid indicates that he is currently performing below par.
“Maybe it's also part of the explanation. We had the feeling he's not on his highest level if you can compare him against Real Madrid last year.
“This is nothing to be ashamed of or to feel sorry for. We try to push him because we know what he has when he's on the pitch,” Tuchel noted.
Kante is known for his high energy level performance on the pitch however he has been slow to pick form since returning from knee and groin injuries.
“He's a unique player, who gives us something nobody else can. He's struggling with consistency due to injuries, and illness and this is also the reason for our bit of inconsistency,” Tuchel noted.
