Mouth-Watering Encounters Lined up With High School Games Schedule Released

A number of mouthwatering encounters have been lined up for the upcoming 2022 Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) term two national games which kicks off on Friday, September 2022 at Nakuru Boys High School.

According to the fixtures released by KSSSA, several former champions have been grouped together in a number of disciplines.

In boys hockey, Pool A is the most exciting and toughest of the two pools since all the schools in that group are former national champions.

Pool A has Western region powerhouse Friends School Kamusinga, former East African champions Kisumu Day, Rift Valley representatives St. Anthony’s Kitale and 2010 winners Mang’u High School.

In girls volleyball, Eastern region champions Kwanthanze have been placed in Pool B alongside Soweto (Nairobi), Mwitoti (Western) and Vyambani (Coast).

Reigning champions Wiyeta secondary school from Kipsaina will battle it out with Mwira, Kobala and a talented St. John’s Kaloleni side in Pool B of girls football.

In Pool A, Nairobi region representatives Dagoretti Mixed Secondary School have been grouped with Kinale (Central region), Itigo (Riftvalley) and Kibauni (Eastern).

Highway high school who replaced Nairobi region champions Waylight secondary school after the latter was found to have fielded an ineligible player will entertain Mbooni and Bukembe from Eastern and Western region respectively in Pool A of the boys category.

North Eastern region is yet to avail their representatives after the regional finals were called off due to lack of funds.
