
Kenyan side Western Jaguars registered its first win in the ongoing Africa Cup for Club Champions tournament after beating Weatherhead from Uganda 2-0 at Sikh Union in Nairobi.
Jaguars lost 2-1 to fellow Kenyan side Butali Sugar in their opening match played on Monday, February 13.
This is the Western Jaguars' first appearance in the tournament.

After the win Jaguars head coach, Michael Malungu noted that the result will boost the confidence of his players ahead of the remaining group-stage matches.
“I am happy we bagged our first win in the tournament. We played well but there is still some work to be done especially in the forward department.
“We were good in progressing the ball but the finishing was wanting. If we build on the win, then we stand a chance of sailing to the final,” Malungu stated.
Jaguars will get a walkover in their next match set for Wednesday, February 15, as their opponent Kada Stars of Nigeria did not travel.
Fellow Kenyan side Butali will play Weatherhead from Uganda on February 15, at 5 pm EAT.
