Okutoyi and her partner defeated the Slovakian duo of Irina Balus and Nikola Daubnerova with a score of 6-4, 6-4. 

They were able to defeat the Canadian duo of Eliana Kook and Anna-Raphaelle Serghi winning by a score of 6-4 and 6-2.  

Serena will partner her elder sibling Venus Williams in the doubles category at the tournament for the first time since 2018.

Serena and Venus have won 14 doubles together since registering their maiden victory at the 1999 French Open.

Serena is expected to retire after the US Open. 

The ever-smiling teenager revealed that Okutoyi always inspires and pushes her to the limit.

Okutoyi stated that she was almost giving up before the Dutch international reached out to her via Instagram.

When the umpire requested him to specify exactly which spectator was distracting him, his reply was priceless.

The 18-year-old tennis star was playing alongside Dutch international Rose Marie Nijkamp in the women's junior doubles tournament. 

They started the second set slowly going down 1-0 in the first few minutes before producing a brilliant comeback to win 6-4

Okutuyi is currently placed at position sixty-one in the latest junior rankings released by the International Tennis Federation (ITF).

Okutoyi's next tourney will be the junior grand slam in Wimbledon, the UK in July.

Okutoyi will be taking part in the Roland Garros Junior Championships in Paris, France from May 29 to June 4. 

Okutoyi who started tennis at the age of four has been able to bag many trophies with the African championship enabling her to go to the Australian Open. 

The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) has announced that it will introduce stricter rules for its players

He also becomes the first Spaniard to win in Miami.

The semi final match between Okutoyi and Leigh was delayed due to heavy downpours in Sousse, Tunisia.

The 18-year-old is expected to face either Tunisia’s Ranim Rassil or Leigh Van Zyl from South Africa in the semis. 

Okutoyi will now face off with the winner between Tunisian Amira Bargaoui and Gloriana Goreti Nahum from Benin in the quarterfinal.

She announced on social media that she will be retiring from professional tennis. Her announcement sent shock waves to the world of tennis.
